Member Access

Member access — including which doors they can use and when — is determined by the door benefits assigned to their membership.
A contactless access method can also be assigned (see below), and will follow the access rules set by that membership.

Access Methods

For clubs using contactless access control, each member can be assigned their access method at sign-up.
GymMaster supports key fobs, Bluetooth access, and passcodes.

Key Fobs

Key fobs give members convenient, secure access to your facility—no staff needed.
They’re commonly used for clubs using door access hardware and software.

To assign a key fob:

• Click the edit icon next to the key fob field
• Scan the fob you want to assign
• The fob is now linked to the member
• Access is granted based on the door permissions tied to their membership

Bluetooth

Give members touch-free entry using their smartphone—perfect for clubs using the GymMaster Member App.

• To assign Bluetooth access, click the Fob Number field and select Assign Bluetooth Access Token
• Members with a key fob automatically gain mobile check-in access, when enabled
• For added security, control which personal devices members can use for Bluetooth access — managed via Devices and Subscriptions

Passcode

Give members a unique entry code for secure, keypad-based door access—great for clubs with integrated access control.

• Automatically assign members an individual door entry code
• Alternative method to key fobs or mobile check-in
