Before enabling access to the Member App, make sure your Member Portal is fully configured — most settings carry across to the App.
While members can access your portal via their desktop, the majority of your members will primarily use their phone to access the portal via the Member App.
Your base settings for the member portal will carry over to the member app, but visually the two will look very different.
Some features are unique to the Member App.
This guide shows you where to learn about the visual options of the Member App and how to enable access to your members.
The home screen of the Member App can be personalised per club through the selection and ordering of a variety of widgets.
Widgets are mini-applications displayed on the home screen that provide quick access to various details, and provide shortcuts to go deeper into each section of the app.
Options include;
Control which widgets are visible and their order of appearance on the member app’s home screen via the GymMaster admin portal.
Manage widgets through Settings > Member Portal > Customize Member App.
Note that widgets require background configuration to be enabled; for example the Friends and Leaderboard widet will require Settings > Member Portal > Member > Enable feiends feature on app to be selected before it will appear on the app.

The same portal buttons will be enabled in the app as they are in the portal, but visually they will display differently.

While each club can personalize elements within the app, members will be downloading the GymMaster brand, and will be presented with the GymMaster logo when logging in.

Give your members access to the Member App:

Once the app is downloaded, members can log in using their smartphone or tablet.
To receive push notifications, members must enable notifications for the GymMaster App in their device settings.
Members can now access their accounts, book classes and services, purchase memberships and stay updated via the app
Once enabled and in combination with matching harware, members can use the GymMaster Member App to unlock club doors via Bluetooth — no need for key tags or passcodes.
This provides a seamless, contactless entry experience directly from their smartphone.
