We’ve been listening to your feedback, and we’re excited to announce an upcoming update to GymMaster’s Waitlist feature — designed to give members more control and flexibility when securing a spot in a class.

Current Waitlist Feature

When a class is full, interested members are automatically added to a waitlist in order of booking.

Currently, when a member cancels their booking, the next person on the waitlist is automatically added to the class.
While this worked for some, we heard from many of you that it isn’t always ideal—sometimes members aren’t available, which leads to missed opportunities and last-minute no-shows.

What’s Changing?

With this update, waitlisted members will be given the option to confirm their spot rather than being automatically booked in.

Here’s how it works:

✅ When a spot opens up, the first person on the waitlist receives an email notification prompting them to confirm their place.
✅ If they don’t claim the spot within a set timeframe, the offer is also extended to the next person in line — either member can then accept the spot.
✅ The offer continues to be extended to more waitlisted members until someone secures the booking.

Why This Matters

This change ensures:

✔ Fewer last-minute no-shows
✔ No unintended bookings from wait-list
✔ No unintended no-show fees from waitlist bookings
✔ Flexibility for members to actively confirm move into class

Be Among the First to Try It!

We’re looking for a handful of clubs to preview this feature and provide real-life feedback before the full release.
