Door Access Guides

Member Access

This guide assumes hardware installation is complete and your access method is enabled.

You can now assign automated, individualized access to your members.

To gain automated access to your club, your full members need;

  • Door Access Benefits, which come from a purchased membership.
  • An access method (Key Fob, Bluetooth)

Door Access Benefits

Member access is determined by the benefits assigned to the Membership they purchase.

To configure a membership to allow door access, go to Settings > Membership Type Select a membership, and scroll to Membership Benefits. By default, all memberships have All Door Access during Open Hours. If this suits your membership, keep as is. Otherwise you can;

  • Remove ‘All Door Access and select Add Benefit
  • Select Physical Doors
  • Choose whether members can access All Doors (all clubs or all doors of the member’s club) or a Specific Door (e.g., Front Door, Reception).
    Use separate benefits for multiple specific doors.
  • Set Restrictions to limit the number of accesses within a period, or define specific hours using existing system rosters (Open Hours, Off Peak, Peak, 24/7).
  • Save.

Members purchasing this membership will have access according to the rules selected for that membership.

Assign Access Method

After purchasing a membership, assign an access method; Key Fobs, Bluetooth Tokens. Bluetooth can be automatically assigned when a new member signs up if enabled. See the each access method guide for full description of how to assign these to your members in various ways.

Access methods link directly to the member’s account and membership.
Members can only access doors within the limits defined by their membership benefits, or casual booking. Members with failed billing, holds, expired, or cancelled memberships will be denied access until resolved.
