Doors and Readers

Once connected to GateKeeper and an access method, access is controlled through rules defined in membership benefits and staff access rosters.
Each door can be configured independently, allowing unrestricted access through some doors and restricted access through others. This improves security while reducing staff workload and access errors.

No hardware setup? Review the hardware available on the GymMaster Website to determine the hardware required for your club.
Place the order through the GymMaster team, and arrange consultation and installation with a qualified local technician.
GateKeeper integration within GymMaster is now automated, once physically installation is complete and GateKeeper is registered.
All installation and registration guides are available on the GymMaster website.

Add / Edit Door

Doors Summary

Displays a list of all doors currently added to GymMaster, with a brief overview of each door’s locked or unlocked state and GateKeeper status.
The following actions can be performed for each door:

Edit Door:
Edit Door details, using the edit symbol under Actions to the right of the table.

Restart GateKeeper:
If required, you can restart GateKeeper here.
Refer to our Door Access: Troubleshooting Documentation for steps to take when there are issues with Door Access.

Display QR Code:

Displays QRcode for check-in at the selected door, allowing members to enter without a key fob, Bluetooth token, or passcode.
Members access this via the Member App by selecting the QR code capture option at the top of the main screen. Alternatively, members can check in on the QR code screen using their member ID, phone number, or email address.

Assigned Key Fobs

Lists all current fobs allocated to members.
Search for any key tag, search by Member ID or by member name.
Key tags can be individually deleted or updated (must be preassigned; add number of keyfob) from this section.
Unassigned key fobs need to be assigned to members through their Member Page > Details Tab > Assign Key Fob.

Assign Bluetooth Tokens:
A Bluetooth Access Token allows a member to use their mobile phone and the Member App to access the facility at a door reader, instead of an RFID key fob.

This tool bulk-generates and assigns Bluetooth Access Tokens to members who do not already have one.
To enable this setting, go to Settings > Membership Types > Membership Categories and enable Assign a Bluetooth Access Token for the relevant categories.
To assign bluetooth to all members, repeat this process for all membership categories.

After tokens are assigned, members must resync their Member App to receive the token. This can be done by logging out and back into the app, or by refreshing the app’s home screen.

Notification Sounds

Configure whether a sound is played when a member uses a door, and specify which sound is triggered based on the outcome of the entry. Sounds can be set for normal (granted) access, entries associated with a member warning, denied access attempts, or when testing a new key fob.
We advise you only set notification sounds for reception door, as sounds will be heard through reception computers, not from the doors themselves.
