Bookings and Classes

Add / Edit Service

This screen allows you to create and manage services in GymMaster.
Define what the service is, who can run it, and who can book it.

Use the Service settings to toggle available options and control how members and staff interact with this service.


Service Details

Service Name:
Choose a clear and descriptive name that helps members understand what this service is.

Default Booking Length:
Set the standard length of the service. You can adjust this individually per session when creating a booking.

Color:
Pick a background color for how this service appears on schedules, helping members quickly identify it.

Service Category:
Assign the service to a category. This option appears only once the category has been created.
Categories help organize similar services and make scheduling easier.

  • Club List: Selected clubs this service can be booked at. Clubs shown are based on category settings.

  • Allowed Resources: Specifies the resources that can be booked for this service, such as rooms, equipment, or trainers.
    Resources are allocated based on the category settings.


Service Is For

Decide who can book and attend this service and how it’s paid for. All membership types can be included.

Current Members:
Active members can book according to their membership benefits.
Service Packs are not included in this option.

  • All Service Benefits: Members holding an All Service membership, or with benefits for this service category, can book. Pricing follows the membership benefit. To include members without benefits, set a base price.

  • Selected Benefits Only: Only memberships with specific benefits including this service can book. Pricing follows the membership benefit.
    To allow others to join, set a base price.

  • Base Price: Lets current members without service benefits enroll at a fixed price you define.

Casual & Prospects: Enable casual visitors or non-members to book this service. Pricing is set below:

  • Free: No charge for casual or non-member bookings.
  • Fixed Price: Apply a set fee for all casual or non-member bookings.

Service Packs:
Allow members with service packs to book this service.

  • All Service Benefits: Any All Service pack holder can book.
  • Selected Benefits Only: Only service packs that include this service can book.

Online Bookings

Control how and where this service appears for members in the Member Portal and Member App.

Bookable Online:
Service is visible and open for online booking. Members can self-book, and staff can also book members.

Description: Add a clear description for members. Displayed in the Member Portal and App.
Include any key service details or requirements.

Forms to Sign:
Attach forms or waivers that members must complete to enroll.

Open Online Bookings:
Set how long before the service starts that online bookings are available.

Close Online Bookings:
Set how long before the service starts that online bookings close.

Cancellation Cutoff:
Define how close to service start time members can cancel their booking.

Cancellation Mode:
Decide what happens when a member cancels online, for example, whether the spot is freed up for others or removed from the schedule.


Group Bookings

Designed for small private or semi-private group sessions, such as group PT sessions.

Max Participants:
Set the maximum number of attendees allowed for this service.

Additional Attendees Book Free:
The member who makes the initial booking always pays. Select this option to allow extra attendees to join the group for free.
If not selected, all attendees are charged for the service.


Commissions

Set how trainers earn commission for delivering this service.

Disabled:
Trainer does not earn any commission for this service.

Flat Rate:
Trainers receive a fixed amount, regardless of the number of attendees.

  • Commission Recipient: Choose whether the commission goes to the trainer scheduled to run the service or the trainer linked in the member’s profile.
  • Flat Commission per Attendee: Define how much the trainer earns per attendee.
  • Flat Commission per Group Booking: Define how much the trainer earns for the entire group booking.

Percentage:
Trainers receive a percentage of the service fee.
The percentage can be applied per participant or per group.

  • Commission Recipient: Choose whether the commission goes to the scheduled trainer or the trainer linked in the member’s profile.
  • Percentage per Attendee: Define what percentage of the service fee the trainer earns per attendee.
  • Percentage per Group Booking: Define what percentage of the service fee the trainer earns per group.
