Select required standard report type, then apply filters to narrow the results down to the exact conditions you need.
Once the report is generated, action options are available depending on the report type.
These may include exporting the data, contacting members directly, or using the results to support operational, financial, or retention decisions.
These initial filters vary per report selected, but will often include;
Select a Date:
Filter report by selected period of time, such as today, previous week, previous month or year.
Alternatively, select a date range specific to the time period you require.
Notify Me Once Completed: !!unsure what this does?
Use additional filters per report type to filter down to the precise output range you’re looking for; eg this might be specific membership types, selected staff, or booking types.
To further adjust report before its run, select Edit Report at this point.
If ready to run report, select Show Report.
Provides more specific filtering options; filter operators. Filter operators tell the system how to compare the value in a specific field against a value you specify. The available operators will vary depending on the data type of that field, which is shown in brackets next to the field name.
Examples for each filter operator;
Integer:
These are numbers; generally filtered by the value being equal to, greater than, or less than the selected number.
Example; How can I search for members within report are older than 18?
Text:
These are words and sentences, generally filtered by the defined text containing or not containing selected word/s.
Example; How I search for members within report with the last name Smith?
Dates:
Here you can filter by specific date or date range, filtered by the defined date being before, at, after, or between.
Example; How would you get members that signed up in 2019?
Boolean:
This is a True or False filter, applying a filter based on the option selected being true or false.
Example; How would you filter members that are new to the club?
When editing report you can also select to;
Auto Send: Auto send this report to the defined club email (as set in Club Details) per selected frequency.
Edit Title and Description: Edits can be made to more accurately describe this report given any additional filters that have been added.
This will not overwrite the original report selected from Standard Reports.
Return to Default: Resets report to remove any edits.
Create Duplicate: This will create a new permanent report option in standard reports, stored underneath the original report type selected.
Set your new title, description and filters before creating the duplicate.
Once filters are set, select Show Report.
Once report is run, options along top right allow actions to be taken from here.
Options will vary based on report, common options include;
Export: Export as CSV file, Excel file, or Google Sheets.
Print: Save as PDF or print.
Charge All: Add a one-off charge/fee to all / Selected Members within report; this will be charged immediately or at members next billing cycle.
Send SMS/Notification: Send a one-off SMS/notification to all those selected from within report results.
Send Email: Send a one-off email to all those selected from within report results.
