Connect Your Own AI Agent
Use GymMaster data in Claude, ChatGPT and other AI agents
GymMaster has an MCP server for staff. MCP is the standard way for AI agents to use outside tools. An agent that connects can use the same tools as Gymmy: reports, KPIs, class insights, member retention, tasks, the user manual and your settings.
Server Address
Use the address of your own GymMaster site, for example:
https://yourclub.gymmasteronline.com/mcp/staff
Settings > Integrations > AI shows the address for your site. Click it to copy it.
The agent acts as you, at the club you are logged in to. It can use only the data that your staff roles let you see.
Connect an Agent
Use this for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code and Gemini CLI. The agent must support OAuth sign-in.
Other agents that run on your computer, such as desktop apps and terminal tools, can also connect. Other agents that run on a website cannot connect.
- Go to Settings > Integrations > AI. Find Connect your own AI agent.
- Select your agent. Do the steps for that agent.
- The agent opens GymMaster. Log in if it asks you to.
- Select the options that you want. See the table below.
- Click Allow.
Only administrators can connect an agent. You cannot connect an agent while you mimic a staff member.
Options
Each option is off unless you select it. GymMaster shows an option only when your own account can do that thing.

Without an option, the agent can only read data, and members and staff show as Member#123 and Staff#4.
With Show member names, the agent sends real names to its AI provider. Your club is responsible for this under privacy law.
Text from members, such as notes and messages, can trick an agent into changes you did not ask for. Select Allow changes only for an agent you trust.
With either option, the connection stops after 30 days. Connect the agent again to continue.
See and Revoke Agents
- Your agents: see them on the Security tab of your account, and in Settings > Integrations > AI.
- All staff agents: administrators see the agents of all staff at the club in Settings > Integrations > AI. An administrator also sees the agents of a staff member on the Security tab of that staff member.
- Click Revoke to stop an agent at once.
GymMaster also stops all agents of a staff member when the staff member changes their password, when an administrator logs them out, or when they are no longer an administrator.
GymMaster records each tool that an agent uses. It also records each connection that shows names or can change data.
