Product Benefits
Product Benefits allow you to include retail discounts as part of a membership.
When a member purchases a Membership Type, any Product Benefits attached to that membership are automatically applied when eligible products are purchased through the Point of Sale. For a complete overview of Membership Benefits, see Membership Benefits.
Product Benefits are configured within the individual Membership Type.
- Begin at: Settings > Membership Types > Edit Membership Type > Membership Benefits
From here, you can add, edit, and manage the product discounts included with that membership.
Product Benefits
Product discount benefits can be applied to:
- Individual products
- Product Groups
- Product Types
Discounts can be configured as percentage discount, fixed dollar amount discount, fixed sale price.
This allows you to create memberships that include ongoing discounts on selected retail items without changing your standard product pricing.
Example on the left shows members being able to buy one pair of Banana Socks for $2.50, once per membership. The example on right right allows 10% off all products with this membership, with no upper purchase limit.
Multiple Benefits
A single Membership Type can include multiple Product Benefits.
For example, a single membership could include:
- 10% off supplements
- 20% off clothing
- Fixed pricing on protein shakes
Each Product Benefit is configured independently, allowing you to build membership packages that match your club’s retail offering.
