Fiserv x GymMaster

Fiserv is a payment processor that works with GymMaster for membership billing in the USA and Canada. Through Fiserv you can take credit card payments and use a card reader at the front desk, and in the USA you can also collect bank payments via ACH.

Inside GymMaster, Fiserv's processing is listed as Clover Connect. You may also see it called BluePay in older GymMaster documentation, as that was the name before the rebrand.

How it works with GymMaster

• Once your Fiserv account is approved, enter the API details Fiserv sends you under Billing > Billing Credentials, and choose Clover Connect as your paid-in-full provider, your recurring payment provider, or both. See Billing Credentials.
• Members can enter their card details when they join online, or update them in the Member Portal, so staff don't need to handle them.
• If you're moving from another system and already have Clover Connect customer tokens, staff can add them to each member's billing details by hand, for either card or ACH. See Manual Entry of Billing Tokens.
• When a payment fails, GymMaster shows the reason returned by Fiserv and, where possible, the transaction ID, so you can follow it up with Fiserv if needed. See Understanding Failed Billing and Billing Provider Error and Decline Codes.
