Recognise and Reward Member Achievements

Whether you’re celebrating attendance milestones, personal fitness achievements, or encouraging friendly competition, Awards provide a simple and meaningful way to motivate members and increase engagement.
Awards can also be enhanced with Friends and Leaderboards, allowing members to connect with friends through the GymMaster App. Friend-only leaderboards display visit streaks and awards earned, adding an extra layer of motivation while fostering community support and friendly competition among selected friends.
Awards in GymMaster
Awards are generally given in two ways: they can either be awarded automatically by GymMaster based on set conditions, or they can be issued manually by staff when recognition is needed.
Automated Awards
Automated Awards are triggered by GymMaster when specific criteria are met.
These may include;
- Built-in System Awards (found under Settings > Advanced Configuration > Awards) or
- Custom Awards that are connected to Task Automation
For example, a member might receive an award for achieving the highest number of visits in a month, reaching a class attendance milestone, completing 100 visits at the club, or reaching a membership milestone.
Best for: tracking attendance patterns, recognising consistency, celebrating visit streaks, and highlighting measurable achievements across your member base.
Manual Awards
Manual Awards are issued directly by staff and are best used when recognition does not fit into an automated system or when a more personal acknowledgment is appropriate. These might include;
- Recognising a Member of the Month
- Acknowledging outstanding community spirit
- Celebrating a personal achievement
- Rewarding a competition winner
Best for: recognising individual contribution, celebrating community involvement, and highlighting achievements that are meaningful but not easily measured through system data.
