Health Data Collection and Usage
Our app collects health-related information to provide you with fitness tracking and gym management services. This may include:
- Body Measurements: Data such as body weight, height, body fat percentage, and muscle mass to track physical progress.
- Fitness Activity: Workout logs, personal bests, and exercise performance metrics to help you monitor your fitness goals.
- Attendance and Participation: Information regarding your gym visits, class bookings, and session history.
How we use this data: We use this health data strictly to provide app functionality, such as displaying your progress over time, managing class bookings, and allowing gym staff to tailor fitness plans to your needs. We do not share this health data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Data Retention and Deletion
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be deleted from our records.
Retention Period: We retain your personal and health data for as long as you have an active membership. Following a deletion request or membership termination, we may retain your data for a period of up to 8 weeks in our secure backups for legal and administrative purposes before it is permanently purged.
How to Delete Your Data: You can initiate a deletion request directly within the Members App by navigating to Settings > Account > Request Account Deletion, or by emailing our support team at support@gymmaster.com.
GymMaster collects personal information
GymMaster is a membership management system that provides gym and and health club facilities a simple and effective way of managing their business, amenities, and members.
This service involves storing data about a company or individual. This data can include personal information such as an individual’s name, address, telephone number, email address, location, image, and login information.
Purpose of Collection and Usage
GymMaster collects personal information so that we can provide you with services, including to:
- Provide members with a personalised facility booking & account management service,
- Identify and authenticate member login,
- To provide the facility the ability to contact members,
- To automatically check members into classes by using location,
- To provide the facility the ability to track attendance, progress & billing activities,
- To provide the facility with integration with third parties such as billing providers and accounting software.
All passwords are non-reversibly encrypted. It is your responsibility to keep your password safe and secure. You should change your password immediately should you become aware of any misuse.
Data Storage and Security
GymMaster stores your data on secure servers close to you. We use top tier data hosting providers in The United States, Singapore, Australia, and Germany.
We do not store credit card information. Details are encrypted and sent directly to the facility’s billing provider. Bank account information is only stored if the facility opts for manual billing, in which case it is encrypted and sent securely.
